¡á Lesbian Eroticism

There are various ways of doing eroticism inside diverse women¡¯s same sex relationship other than passionate love and sex. Also, these relationships could be erotic and sometimes horrible and uncomfortable at the same time. These may reveal scratches and the gap of smooth surface of sisterhood or dreadful and tabooed lesbian images. Yet, lesbian eroticism and boundary of female desires are far from pornographic male gaze. This section aims to explore images that construct lesbian eroticism inside numerous relationships.

¡á ¡á Lesbian Sexuality / Identity

This section looks into individual history of lesbians who hope to locate themselves within a single category but show different paths of identity construction. Each individual is situated in various boundaries vertically and transversely. Many of structural elements, even though it is not clear, could be revised throughout this section.

¡á ¡á ¡á Lesbian Culture

No lesbian¡¯s history so far? If you say so, it means you may not know lesbians have existed anytime, anywhere. Is there lesbian culture? Nobody can describe lesbian culture in a single way considering the diverse ways of being lesbians. It is not easy to see clearly what is enjoyable to us and what is only possible by us. Nevertheless, as far as we are concerned, certain culture exist for sure. We attempt to find lesbian subtexts that are going on inside and outside of lesbian community because productions of hetero-oriented popular culture are often transformed int! ! o lesbian ones. This kind of works may help to reveal where we stand and provide power to resist existing discrimination and oppression against lesbians.

¡á ¡á ¡á ¡á Coming out

It is not a simple task to make lesbians visible under patriarchy and compulsory heterosexism. Coming-out has significant meaning to lesbians who hide their identity due to violent prejudice of compulsory heterosexism. Coming out of the closet to wider society offers a positive affirmation of oneself, but make one confront scattered difficulties at the same time. Les! ! bians, who try to come out, come to stand in the front line of the fight against these solid walls of heterosexism. We talk about coming-out in a various ways from offering fun slogans of coming out to heterosexuals to looking into the painful struggles of lesbians about coming-out.
